SELECTED WORKS

Sandra is a project manager & curator interested in alternative modes of discourse transmission.

Working primarily with sound, she investigates possibilities offered by collage and spatialisation.

Her work explores radical ancestry, forced empathy, and ways of bringing to light the colonial violence that saturates the banalities of everyday life.

She is also the founder of MARASA, an online exhibition space exploring the possibilities given by sound and radio to contribute to renewed systems of listening, visibility and knowledge creation.

She has worked and collaborated with NTS Radio, Nicoletti Contemporary, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, LUX Moving Image, Somerset House Studios, Somerset House, Camden Art Centre, Worldwide FM, not/nowhere, Taylor Le Melle, Reduced Listening, Protein Agency, Turbine Productions, Falling Tree, Shanaynay Art Space, and Akinola Davis. She has also written and produced audio documentaries for BBC Radio 4 and 3. She is also one of the first Multitrack Fellows and part of the 2020 cohort of the Institute of Contemporary Arts New Creatives program.

She also does commercial work.
